Our Performance Training Methods
Valencia Martial Arts Center – (661) 338-2922
Shin’s Family Martial Arts Center uses proven, state-of-the-art training
methods for all of our taekwondo, self-defense, martial arts, and fitness
programs. Performance training is a combination of:
- Core conditioning
Plyometrics incorporates exercises or drills aimed at linking strength
with speed of movement. The power that is produced enables the muscle
to reach maximum strength in the shortest time possible. Core training
involves the integration and coordination of movement and stability in
the entire body. Bio mechanics is the science that examines the internal
and external forces acting on biological systems and the effects produced
by these forces.
Importance of Proper Training
Shin’s Family Martial Arts Center recognizes the importance of performance
training in building a solid foundation for our students in order for
them to be successful in their martial arts, self-defense, and martial
arts acrobatics (trampoline and tumbling) training. As a result, performance
training is integrated into all of our unique programs offered at our
Valencia martial arts center. These dynamic techniques give our students state-of-the-art functional
training. This system not only improves martial arts, self-defense, and
tricking skills, but overall athleticism. Students who participate in
other sports benefit from this type of training.
Core conditioning, functional training, and plyometrics are the key elements
of our performance training program. At Shin’s Family Martial Arts
Center, not only do we focus on making our students better martial artists,
we help create better athletes.
