Santa Clarita's Best Demonstration Team can be found at Shin's Family Martial Arts Self Defense Taekwondo Center. Shin's XMA Performance Team has performed in front of thousands of people at several different venues including the LA Fitness Expo, the largest fitness expo on the west coast.

Shin's XMA Performance Team Available for Performances

Shin's XMA Performance Team is the leading martial arts demonstration team in the Santa Clarita Valley.  Shin's has a highly talented and diverse group of students from ages 9-17 years old.  All of our Team members started at Shin's wthout any knowledge of our XMA Performance team, let alone what XMA (Xtreme Martial Arts) was.  They came just to learn martial arts and then took an interest in XMA.  They trained hard, earned a spot on the Team and have helped entertain thousands over the past few years.

Shin's XMA Performance Team trains three days a week and are constantly improving with new and improved skills.  We perform throughout the year at our belt promotion tests as well as at various venues throughout Santa Clarita, includingCentral Parkand elementary schools.  We have also performed for the past four years at the LA Fit Expo (held at the LA Convention Center each January).  The Team works hard while balancing out a normal life.  They still have to perform in school and at home.  Should a Team member show disappointment with school grades, they are benched from the Team until they show significant improvement.  We take things seriously, but always try to maintain the aspect of fun.  Many of our Team members partake in other sports and extra curricular activities.  Some of the members run track, snowboard, take dance, are assistants at Shin’s, or participate in high school programs.  And these additional activities all play into their involvement and improvement with their skills.  If you are interested in seeing what XMA is, stop by Shin’s and we will be happy to put on a little show for you.
