With so many different martial arts schools to choose from in the Santa Clarita Valley, why is Shin's Family Martial Arts Center's programs so popular?  What separates us from the rest?

This is a simple question to answer.  The instructors as Shin’s not only enjoy teaching martial arts, be we enjoy interacting with the students and the parents.  We love talking and having fun with everyone and getting to know them.  We don’t just show up to work, clock in, teach, and then clock out.  When we see someone walk in, we say hi to them.  But it doesn’t just stop there.  If we are out in the lobby and we see some coming to the front door, we will open the door and greet them with a big smile.  Kids are always getting high fives.  We notice if they got a new haircut and we let them know how cool they look.  If they come in with a cupcake, we’ll joke with them about how they brought it for us.  When parents need to talk to us about their child, we make ourselves (outside of having to start class) available for them.  And if not, we arrange to speak later.  When kids want to come up and tell us about something fun that happened to them, we enthusiastically listen.  We play with the kids as well, especially in our After School Homework Club.  We don’t just teach martial arts.  We don’t just teach discipline or self control or help students develop confidence.  We want them to come to Shin’s and create experiences.  We are very good at teaching the programs we have here.  But we are also very good at allowing the kids to have a good time from the moment they walk through our front doors to the moment they walk out.  We make coming to Shin’s fun.  You will learn Tae Kwon Do.  You will learn XMA.  You will learn to defend yourself in Krav Maga or Safeguard.  But you will have a great time as well.
