Performance TrainingPerformance Training is a combination of Plyometrics, Core Conditioning and Biomechanics. Plyometrics incorporates exercises or drills aimed at linking strength with speed of movement. The power that is produced enables the muscle to reach maximum strength in the shortest time possible. Core training involves the integration and coordination of movement and stability in the entire body. Biomechanics is the science that examines the internal and external forces acting on biological systems and the effects produced by these forces. Senior Instructor and former head trainer at HOPS™ Sports Training Center, Dave Eastham has designed and implemented a unique program to give Shin’s Martial Fitness Center students “state-of-the-art” functional training. This system not only improves martial arts skills but overall athleticism. Students who participate in other sports benefit from this type of training. With the incorporation of high performance training into all of its classes, Shin’s Martial Fitness Center has the best athletic training program available in the Santa Clarita Valley. |
