National Sparring Team

Located in the heart of Santa Clarita in Valencia, Shin's Family Taekwondo Martial Arts Fitness Center's National Taekwondo Sparring Team, also known as "Team Fury", has the best competitive taekwondo record than any other taekwondo martial arts school found in the Santa Clarita Valley.  Over the years, Shin's Family Taekwondo Martial Arts Fitness Center has produced more state and junior national taekwondo champions than all of the other Santa Clarita taekwondo martial arts schools combined. 

In fact, in 2007, Shin's Family Taekwondo Martial Arts Fitness Center was the only taekwondo martial arts school in the Santa Clarita Valley to have a taekwondo player qualify for U.S. National Team Trials.  The local Santa Clarita taekwondo black belt student from Shin's placed third in the entire country.

Most recently, Santa Clarita families voted Shin's Family Taekwondo Martial Arts Fitness Center "Best Martial Arts School" in the Santa Clarita Valley for 2009.  This includes the areas of Valencia, Saugus, Canyon Country, Stevenson Ranch, Newhall and Castaic.  This is Shin's seventh time winning the prestigious award in the past nine years:  2001, 2003, 2004, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009.  No other martial arts school in the Santa Clarita Valley can make that claim.   

Team training includes: plyometrics, core conditioning and tournament strategy.
